They looked at the feasibility of nuclear aircraft engines back in the 1950's. The air force took a B-36 and flew an active nuclear reactor in its bomb bay, but that was kinda the extent of it before the program was cancelled.
The F-35 program is an extremely stupid aircraft and a huge waste of money. But holy shit, those things are fucking cool when they're in the sky. They don't look real.
It's different because it hasn't been BORN.
Abortion should be ondemand for anyone regardless how far along they are. It's called body autonomy honey.
I'm getting to see a couple of F-35s fly this week at an airshow. Excited to finally see one of these pieces of shit in real life.
Just got home from an Abortion Rights rally I organized in my city. About 350 people there, we got lots of signatures for people wanting to organize with us, and the entire thing was anti-capitalist in tone. Kept the libs in line, kept the rhetoric acceptable and hopefully pushed a few people into some actual long lasting action.
Feeling fucking great. :lenin-laugh:
The wife and I have been singing 'What do we do with a risen savior?' non-stop.
So is the abortion ruling supposed to come tomorrow?
Someone is leaving at work suddenly and I'm tempted to throw my hat in the ring for their role. I've only been here for a year but I've made a name for myself already and I think I have a shot. The role is something I've never done before, and it would be a change but I'm convinced I'd fucking crush it. Let the snooping, convincing and wishful thinking begin!
Watching Goodfellas, and damn Joe Pesci absolutely sells the insecurity of Tommy during the shoeshine scene.
He didn't have body armor, that's copaganda. You're just spouting the bullshit the cops said to cover their asses.
This is a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy, the largest aircraft in the US military. It costs about $100k per hour to operate. :agony-consuming:
I've had the opportunity to fly in a B-17 and this is a real fucking shame. The aircraft is a sight to see when in the air. The dudes who fly them are usually all volunteers and nice people, usually on the less looney side for veterans of that era. It's kinda dark but honestly, I bet a couple of guys on the plane wanted to go out this way, live out some WWII fantasy.
Anyway, they probably shouldn't by flying these old planes this hard - especially in a pursuit / wingman type of format.
