I remember this episode of Star Trek. Wanna say it was Voyager but I might be wrong

Oh yeah, I remember. I even remember thinking how you could further split the middle class into upper-middle, middle-middle and lower-middle and they'd all be managing.
The article says by all traditional measures the economy is strong and it feels like that just show how BS economics is. People play with numbers and statistics, creating their own definitions and say things are great while ignoring reality. What even is middle class anymore?
Took my meme addled brain way too long to remember Chad is also a country
Hell yeah.
Plus, was just having this thought recently, who needs micro transactions in single player games when mods exist? And CDPR has been great with mods.
Even if it's multiplayer, I can see non performance enhancing mods being OK, which then throws things like mtx skins out the window.
Only micro transactions I've done have been on f2p games where I enjoyed what I was playing and wanna give money to the developer.
I love how it looks like the cat is looking at the empty box thinking "Yo wtf???”
Probably not the kind of example you're looking for but my first thought was "Premium Rush".
My recall of the movie isn't great but it's about bike messengers, so main character and others choosing to ride bikes to get places fast
Took me a second.
But man, I don't write academic papers anymore, but I have to write a lot of reports and such for my work and I've tried to use different LLM's to help and almost always the biggest help is just in making me go "Man, this sucks, it should be more like this." and then I proceed to just write the whole thing with the slight advantage of knowing what a badly written version looks like.
I just watched a video basically saying this from "Second Thought", calling American liberals "The most dangerous thing in the western hemisphere". https://youtu.be/33p-8QHZpzY?si=uWb0rns_wiWD-Nqs
But for me, yeah, it's like, I know what to expect from conservatives and don't give their words a whole lot of weight, but when people you think are your allies spout horrible stuff, that just hurts more.
Yeah, I imagine a lot of people alive during the world wars thought things were going to collapse any second as well. But I just feel the added background anxiety of the status quo causing the Earth to heat up catastrophically but slow enough to be ignored adds a novel layer of messed up to everything.
Was just having a conversation recently on whether things have always been this close to a complete existential crisis for humans or is the current global situation unique. Most people felt like things have always been bad but I still feel like, with everything going on in terms of global conflicts and climate change, things are uniquely, complexly and extremely bad on a global scale compared to the past.
The internet has proven to be very clever with its "loss" memes. I keep seeing innovative and/or fun applications of it before I ever feel they're getting stale.
So far this one looks the most like what I'm familiar with, so probably will try it first! The save format not being stable might be a deal breaker for now though as like I said, I move between devices a lot.
My deleted message was me accidentally replying to the wrong post.
This looks amazing for handwriting! I'll look into it more. From what I see so far though, I can't tell if this will sync notes between devices

You know your stuff, thanks for the correction!
