Basically you need to have lived there a while and not own your own home. Getting to the top of the list is probably harder than getting on it.
And yes the problem is the councils are banned from borrowing to build housing or using proceeds from selling to build more as I understand.
Sounds like the same argument against banning smoking in pubs, which is probably the single greatest health intervention in the last fifty years and now supported by basically everyone.

Tories, Labour and Reform are very close at the moment. It's easier for the greens and lib Dems to vote labour I guess so it makes sense to back labour to beat farage

At the moment each carpark on the UK can use any app it likes on mobile to pay, so you end up with every place having its own. Dozens of apps on phones to pay for parking, having to remember which one is right for the one you're in today.
The proposal is to have a single app and have different car parks sign up to it so it's easier for people to pay.
I say proposal. It's not a plan is it. Idea? Dream?
