You know what they say, something is better than nothing
I'm Gen Z and I still know all this stuff because that's just what I'm interested in. I don't think it's a huge issue that those things were made simpler for the average person and that they don't know how it works. It's not like you can or need to know everything.
Surely they wouldn't notice a few kg missing...
340B is fucking huge, holy shit. How big is GPT-4?
I think it's how many billion parameters the model has
The description of the app (when you open it in Software or on Flathub through your browser) tells you what to do to make it work
That would actually be insane. Right now, I still need my GPU and about 8-10 gigs of VRAM to run a 7B model tho, so idk how that's supposed to work on a phone. Still, being able to run a model that's as good as a 70B model but with the speed and memory usage of a 7B model would be huge.
The biggest thing, to me, is actually eye tracking
I just looked up Vinegar again and yes, it says that it's been unsupported since the 22nd of February. That's such a shame, it worked perfectly fine and there was actually one game that I liked to play. Makes me a little mad but I guess I just won't play anything on Roblox anymore.
When did they do that? There was a short time where Wine wasn't supported recently but that was fixed.
Why were you trying to install the Android version of Roblox instead of using Vinegar?
Why the lemmy.ml requirement?
It's not part of Android and not even made by Google
You can also literally tell from the cover what kind of show it's going to be 😭
I read somewhere that it should be checked because it can cause issues on Linux otherwise
That's weird, I never had issues either. Did you check the box at the beginning so it doesn't use more than 4gb RAM?
Installing F-Droid via Waydroid should do exactly that, no?
The thing is, the politicians working against us have been voted to be there. They convinced enough people that what they're doing is good for them. Also, there are also politicians that are working for our rights, there's a reason this has been on the table for so long without actually being implemented.
"Our service is totally different from the rest! The others are free but ours you have to pay for."
I'm currently using Mission Center, which is also really good. One of these should replace GNOME's system monitor tho because it honestly kind of sucks.
