I was really active on this website back during COVID lockdown (on a different account), and was also very active on r/chapotraphouse when that was a thing. I recall some drama going on at about the time I stopped posting, so I'm kind of pleasantly surprised to see we're all doing well here. Also we're hexbear now. Much more aesthetically pleasing name imo.
I'm at a point in my life where I'm kind of politically confused. I'm past that first peak up in those Dunning-Kruger charts you see and basically starting to realize that a lot of the opinions I thought I had at one point were completely uninformed. Due to reasons, my historical education was very unusual and frankly lacking. I'm not sure why, given that I know how uninformed I am, I have decided to come back to one of the most politically "extreme" websites I've ever seen. I guess I still share a lot of beliefs with you folks, it's just that they are more fundamental, abstract beliefs and I'm not sure how I personally believe they should be translated into the physical world.
Basically, I have no idea about anything. If anyone has any educational resources about the broad strokes of history for someone with a short attention span and not a lot of free time, I'm open!
