Do you realize how irrelevant this argument is? OK, you can theoretically raise chickens without pulverizing male chicks, whatever, but right now you are paying for male chicks to be pulverized.

I'm actually going to humor this whataboutism. Thanks to capitalism, electronics are problematic as you say. You can buy a Fairphone, but for almost all of the other hardware you rely on, even something like a car, you have no choice in the sourcing of materials. With veganism, you do have a choice to not buy the products of animal abuse, a choice you are consciously refusing to take because it would inconvenience you slightly. It's literally as simple as not paying for murder. Do you see the difference?
