  • It's a great example of how sanctions are a form of aggression, not a tool to coerce. They merely masquerade as a tool of coercion, because in that way they are even more effective at their true purpose - aggression.

    It is akin to strangling a person to death, with the promise that if the victim only stop struggling, they will be released. However, this is a false promise. When they stop struggling, the attacker uses the lack of resistance to strangle them even harder.

    It's human nature that people will not fight as hard if they think surrender is an option. The West exploits this mercilessly.
