In my opinion, the low fertility rate is a sign that Millenials and Gen Z feel that society is not working for them and id making everyday life difficult. Why have children and make their lives, along with the lives of their children, harder?
I like the default look of Nitrux
What is the date and faces thing measuring? lol
For dual booting with windows, I find this guide from System76 to be pretty good. https://support.system76.com/articles/windows/
You can use a VoIP or SIP provider and then to send SMS and MMS messages you can install an app called Chatty: https://flathub.org/apps/sm.puri.Chatty
There's got to be thousands of signs like that around the country. So, housing crisis solved?
Its cool to see people thinking about how to donate when they can. I think about it as well, and when I have donated I think most if not all fall into your list.
It's funny how the author is complaining about the incentive for companies to become monopolies under capitalism, and leaves it up to another corporation to lobby for a change. And that voting democrat will help prevent the monopoly too.
Direct and collective action might be better. Such as gathering the tenants together and everyone agreeing not to pay the internet service provision that was forced on them. That would pressure the landlord to not make a deal like that again.
I check out books from the library, which of course jas a due date. If I like the book I finish it before it's due. If I find myself struggling to get into and haven't finished it by the due date, I just return it and never look back.
An immutable distro with a heavily customized KDE desktop is Nitrux. Check it out at nxos.org
I used to use nitter to view stuff people sent from twitter. Now I guess I won't ever look at twitter ever again.
usually when I have problems with YubiKey being detected it is because the pcscd service has not been started, or I forgot to enable it so it would start automatically on boot.
You can follow the instructions here on how to do so: https://linuxhandbook.com/systemd-start-service-boot/
It sounds like you have a few devices, so I would recommend trying out this testing distro with MauiShell. There is a testing iso under the heading "Downloads and Sources" in this most recent blog post about its development progress.

When I was in middle school I got into at least two fights in an outdoor stage that was in plain view from all the windows in the admin office. No security, teachers, or anyone else ever noticed.
I'd like to think it was more because they were these small fights where no one got seriously hurt, rather than the staff not caring at all.
I advocate to expand people's thinking of the fantasy genre beyond the usual Euro-centric elves, dwarves, and wizards type stuff.
As such, a fantasy book I recommend is based off of Persian magic and setting is called The Wrath and the Dawn. It is based off of the Arabian Nights legend of that region.
Well, my other recommendation is not a book because it was a web comic, BUT, it fits the fantasy genre. What makes it unique is the fantasy elements are based off of Aztec gods and magic. It is called Leyendas: https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/leyendas/list?title_no=63874
There is another fantasy web comic with middle eastern elements called Suihira The City of Water: https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/suihira-the-city-of-water/list?title_no=39385
I have even better news if you live in the USA. The unemployment rate increased so the rich people can finally hire for lower wage and increase their profit margins...I mean the economy can finally get a handle on inflation
Proof that reality is a simulation. I just rewatched the first episode last night and today this meme appears.
Is that a pedestrian symbol or the chalk outline of a pedestrian who got hit?
In my town there is usually a long drive thru line for Raising Canes, but it snakes around the parking lot rather than the stroad. The few times I go there I park, walk in, and walk out with my food before the person who would have been ahead of me at the drive thru has even ordered.
