Hi! I know I'm replying to a 13-day old comment, but I've been looking up about the Powkiddy V90 and your comment came up, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask someone who has experience with it...

Do you know how difficult it is to flash MiyooCFW into it? I don't really have an SD card slot on my computer, so I'm wondering if it's possible to flash it by plugging the console into my computer and flash it that way - or would I have to order an SD card-to-USB adaptor?

I use CoreCtrl to fix my GPU's atrocious fan curve, which is a necessity since normally it overheats to high hell. With CoreCtrl, I have a nice fan curve that makes my GPU rarely, if ever, run hotter than 70°C.

Yes, for over a year now (since early December 2022, don't remember the exact date).

My experiences with it seem to constantly be different than that of most users, because Wayland was a direct upgrade for me - I couldn't play games properly on X11 at all because they would stutter and freeze really badly even when Vsync was disabled and the game reported to be running at 60 FPS, but Wayland fixed the issue altogether for me.

...Granted, I'm on an AMD card. If I was on Nvidia it'd probably be another story entirely. :x

I've also switched to Fedora Kinoite a little over a year ago after lots of issue-driven frantic distrohopping followed by me having temporarily given up on Linux, and it really stuck for me as well. Fedora Atomic is honestly really cool, and it's been more reliable than most other distros I tried (even Workstation itself!), and I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way ^^'

I am really glad Flatpak exists, it made using Linux much easier for me ^^

Honestly, that's... actually pretty accurate to how I act sometimes...

For everyday tasks, I think a Fedora distrobox works fine, but you would have to upgrade it eventually and I admit I'm not sure how you do that under distrobox. Still, I initially used it and still have a Fedora distrobox I use for doing stuff for my job, as well as one I use for running a game modding program that requires Java, and they both work fine.

I've also had success with a Debian distrobox, which I used to compile Render96ex. Debian is pretty universal, so it's much easier to follow compile instructions using it than a Fedora distrobox ^^'

This is why I always hated studying, I continue struggling with this even to this day.

I really hope this gets ported to Wayland someday, I'd love to have a little neko in my computer!
