My history teacher said that Russians still like Lenin because Russians are naturally disposed to like strong leaders or some racist gibberish like that, rather than, idk, the massive improvements in quality of life.
I read a great book a few months ago about how the pre-colombus Americas were far more developed than western historians gave them credit for and I'm pretty sure it mentioned the indigenous trails. I think it was called 1491 or something like that.
Yeah I don’t enjoy having crushes, kinda because I get really self conscious and then inevitably end up making myself look like I’m trying too hard so then I just give up and try to distract myself somehow but it never works tbh. Being lonely and socially anxious is an awful combo.
