Honestly, I've called cops on cops before, no need for them to be black. One because they were an undercover cop who did not identify themselves adequately and acted suspiciously, second another (or maybe the same) undercover cop that was driving recklessly through the streets almost causing accidents without even a cop light/siren. I'd probably even call if they were in uniform and acted suspiciously enough so dispatch could double check. Cops are workers and they are human, they are not above you or illicit activities themselves, recordings have proved this. I would call, just not place the blame on them while just sticking to why the circumstances aroused concern.

And even generally, calling official numbers to confirm a situation is even something that is increasingly becoming necessary with the number of scams coming out. I realize racism was probably a factor here, specially if they are calling while cop cars are outside and there is clearly a crime scene being investigated, but seriously, don't think this means you have to think twice about reporting suspicious activity if they are cops.

They need to overhaul the FCC and rework and reintroduce the Fairness doctrine and make sure it applies to social networks and that they have access to even the most hidden forms of moderation and how it's getting applied. It should be something rigorous enough that people should be able to issue violation complaints to authorities when breached that will actually be actionable, and it should have different standards between small social networks and large ones.

What I hate about social networks nowadays is how they try to pass off as something that is only surface level and they really make no effort being. Their biases and the sort of comments they are and aren't removing should be on full display, and not just the made up reasons they might stick as an excuse.

I was flippant, but I stand behind my argument. And it stands, now reproduced in several threads whereas before it would have stood downvoted and I would not have cared. I will continue to make it, because society is as it is right now because too many people just want to burn bridges. To put this thread into perspective, there are YouTube channels dedicated to Starfield content with more subscribers than this sub. The edgelord take is seldom representative outside of its bubble.

The worst thing about those games is that they are filled with so many edgelords complaining about all the wrong things, that things like the steeping predatory monetization practices that began with Oblivion and have drastically increased since then no longer get called out as they once were when they tried to shove them again in early Skyrim. But outside of that, stop playing gatekeeper and let people enjoy what they play to enjoy and if you don't like it, maybe spend your time being positive about what you do like instead of negative and berating for people liking what you don't like.
