  • I see it too, I tried explaining how it works a few times but the complainers don't give a shit, they want X and they want it yesterday! Even if X is a vague concept that we don't know yet. Frustrating.

It's one reason I prefer a community forum over a community Discord. The forum tends to keep the complaints to a few easy to ignore threads. Meanwhile in the Discord someone asks the same braindead question every 5 minutes.

  • South East US (bible belt), 27, yes.

I learned shortly after getting my license, because I wanted to be versatile. My first car was a manual, but unfortunately decided to go back to automatic so I could lend my car without having to give a crash course.

I love driving stick it makes the most boring car that much more fun.

My main desktop has a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD (boot drive), a 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD (I use this for recordings / nonessential). It also has two 8TB HDDs in software RAID1, running Macrium Reflect for daily backups of the boot drive, as well as file versioning. My laptop, a generic Thinkpad E14 G1 I got off eBay for a couple hundred, has a 1TB PCle 3.0 NVMe drive (not sure why, I'm constantly wiping that thing it's my OS playground). Then I have a 4 drive NAS with 4x10TB and around 26TB usable in RAID5, all my Linux ISOs are there.
