fuck ticketmaster is really all I have to say
I was really really excited about Primal. Samurai Jack was such a formative show for me and Primal sounded like they had handed Tartakovsky a large budget and told him to just do whatever he wanted, for whatever audience, and he chose an R-rated dinosaur theme. Fricking amazing setup. The show itself.....kinda drags. The first 5? episodes are non-stop creative freedom. They were everything I hoped for and more. I remember watching those early episodes with my mouth just hanging open at the sheer audacity. But over time he tries to weave more of a story, integrate more characters and I don't think it works particularly well. The visuals are all incredible, there are great moment in every episode, but I didn't particularly care for season 2. It just wasn't working for me.
If you like Samurai Jack then you should definitely watch this. It's a master of animation and storytelling showing a new, more mature side of himself. It is shocking, beautiful and absolutely worth a watch. I wish season 2 had lived up to my expectations but I'm grateful for what we got.
Yeah that looks like a no for me holmes. The ai features don't tickle my pickle and while it's still probably the best camera out there I crave that battery life more. MKBHD already dropped his initial reviews as well for what that's worth.

Got my new phone budget two weeks ago and I've been waiting to see if the new pixel was worth it or if I should just buy a oneplus 12. The camera on the oneplus's are never as good but all the other pixel features seem so meh usually. Especially that battery life, why can't they just stick a bigger battery in these things.

was a welcome find for me. I have it memorized for netstat and dislike always having to install it on a new box, very handy tool
Thanks for posting!
Makes me sad, this was a great museum.
Wish that this somehow translated to the people in charge of the shitshow being replaced, but I'm pretty sure it's the workers who will suffer instead. This failure is 1000% on an executive culture of "cut corners so line goes up", not the thousands of people who actually build the darn things.
Do you want ants? Cause this is how we get ants.
Is there a movie coming? They seemed pretty wrapped to me.
Lol, been watching these emails for work for many years now and noted the weird number of CVEs too. I'd love more context if anyone knows. Something specific get cleaned up in the kernel that had a big impact?
When our first child arrived I had a cheap IP cam lying around that I could flash with something I trusted and integrate into my other stuff (Homeassistant in this case). The camera didn't really support a wired connection, only 2.4 wifi. This has probably been my single complaint about the setup generally. We live in a somewhat dense neighborhood and the surrounding 2.4GHz noise affects the stream quality, making it somewhat less reliable.
I would say that if reliability and complexity are your biggest concerns go with one of the decent baby monitors. Very reliable, zero complexity. We didn't find the reliability to be an issue in practice and I didn't mind the complexity. I would say that if you go the IP cam route, do your best to go wired or at least 5GHz.
Also Mac here. I started with a linux laptop but still have to do some desktop support work for the company and since they all use Mac it's just easier to dogfood it. At least I have a decent terminal emulator.
