  • Mussolini and Hitler crushed very strong militant communist movements back then

they're not even totally relevant or necessary to point to as an example, the american communist movement in the 20th century perhaps wasnt as militant (although due to america being what it is, probably still decently armed) and the 4th reich crushed it all the same during the red scares, although it was in an even stronger position so it was just able to do it in a cleaner way (i.e. mass life imprisonment and more precise assassinations)

  • tbh this is one of those instances im not too worried. I fucking hated homework more than anything as a kid, and did basically whatever i could to avoid it, i would calculate how many assignments i could skip or leave half undone etc. while still maintaining an A. honestly not sure if i would have even used chatgpt because it would have meant copying the answers down lol. also as a sidenote i think thats why math always used to be my favorite class, the homework would only be worth 10% of the grade so i could basically ignore them and just do a few here and there during class and be good lol

all that to say i think homework 99% of the time is very dumb and useless and im glad kids are using the latest and greatest tech to get around doing it lol. if you want kids to learn discipline or smthing like that it should be part of an extracurricular like sports or music or something

  • Maybe now they can admit their mistakes, remove their toxic mods, and we can be friends again as it should be. Not counting on it though

i assume this is a joke, but in case you (or anyone else) is unaware this will never happen, ada is also a turbo lib, she got offended over a "death to nato" comment

  • i dont think it's really an ideological shift. i think they are both equally bloodthirsty, i just think the biden administration is uniquely zionist because biden has been the most outspoken pro zionist politican for decades. im not 100% sure how much of it is belief in israel as an unsinkable aircraft carrier (see "the united states would have to invent an isr*el" speech") vs religious conviction (biden is supposedly a devout catholic, and while i am pretty sure they dont have the same beliefs about the rapture as evangelicals, im sure they still have some religious beliefs surrounding isr*el). ultimately my opinion is that its much more religious than ideological at this point, they already have so many other client states in the region (egypt, jordan, gulf states aside from yemen, etc.) that the steadfast support for the entity that the biden administration begins to appear nearly irrational to me, because they could cut isr*el adrift and still control the region imo
