I've considered strategically placing a few strips of retro-reflective marine tape on my car just to start counter-blinding people who get too close with poorly aimed headlights.

I was on a folk kick when this game got it's Steam release and it has no business going this hard. It's awesome.

Damn I didn't even think to check Hexbear while I was at MFF, I had a bunch of spare weed/booze. I would have hooked you up. Glad to hear it turned out cool toward the end.

I've always been a little suspicious that the Fraktur script styling on their page header was a dog whistle but now I'm pretty convinced.

I was blasted at a furry con when someone just walked up to me in a fox suit and told me that G HW Bush died.

This is going to sound dumb but Corona by the Minutemen has been getting to me lately.

The first 30 seconds of that song drums up memories of Jackass and the world (for me personally at least) that existed in such a specific and small window of time. Right after the turn of the century and right before descending into a post 9/11 nightmare. That sliver of optimism because it was "the future" and I wasn't old/aware enough to have witnessed any other hellworld events.

Then the rest of the song is about the poverty of the global south (specifically Mexico in the 80's) and their struggle... and just.. contrasting that with the first bit?

I dunno, it stirs up something really fundamentally sad inside my chest.
