  • Israel sees massive inflation from war time spending. The US will stabilize their currency by discretely buying and selling their currency. They will incentivize the private sector to do direct foreign investment. The US will see another inflation event towards the end of the year.

The police said that it was likely a serial rapist that was breaking into homes. Luckily everyone was home at the time. He creeped in and peeked through my roommates door. My roommate thought it was me sleepwalking and walked over and he slammed the door closed. When my roommate realized it wasn't me, he did a loud shout and a few seconds later I hear a loud thud. I get out the bedroom door to see my roommate bleeding from the head. He was injured in the scuffle but the guy ran off. I ended up leaving the state a few weeks later because it was too hard to feel safe. This was in Norfolk Virginia.

Thanks for asking, that means a lot to me.

  • "This is not about punishing the poor. It's about encouraging them to lift themselves up, to strive for better, to breathe the air they themselves have harvested and to step onto the surface they themselves have earned access to.

It's about more than just surviving in today's wasteland, it's about thriving, innovating, and carving out a better future for themselves and their fellow citizens. Remember, our goal is not to make life easy for our children, but to make them strong for life." ~Some puritanical politician in the 26th century

  • Price controls in other countries doesn't increase the cost of care in the same ways that price controls on rent doesn't increase rent in the surrounding areas. It will decrease the amount of 'innovation' in the same way that price controls would make apartment builders hesitant to build housing in price controlled areas. But a lot of medical innovation is funded by grants of various governments (the subsidy) so it's less likely and Americans aren't exclusively bearing the burden of this cost.
