·1 month agoI’m not gonna tell you that either corporate OS is great but they’re certainly both aware of the concept of battery optimization.

No there’s a whole suite of ways that the phone knows it’s being used or not. It limits charging capacity for longevity etc, and it’s fairly advanced. It’s the reason iOS devices consistently compete for usable battery life hours with android devices that have much bigger physical battery cells.
