Been in the IWW here in the UK for about 2 years now. They sent a member pack and then any involvement after that is up to you. At my local meetings there’s always someone who will take any new members aside and do a little intro chat with them. Also have social anxiety which kinda fluctuates in severity, so it took me longer than I’d have liked to get to my first meeting, but everyone was super welcoming.

All the biggest criticisms of the current IWW that are valid seem to me to stem from a lack of dedicated membership, but what limited work we are able to do is good and the capacity for that work can only expand as more people join, so deffo sign up!
