Those currants looks so good, I only ever had dried ones
I put them in the trash, I've never shown up and nothing has ever happened to me
The LA people who bought the first round of Teslas were soy latte liberals but surprise, soy latte LA liberals are Ronald Regan

It's happening I got the dirt and the strawberries!
Yeah or literally make stuff up like regenerative pasture. Creating pasture for animals desertified our species native ranges across the cradle of civilization in africa and west asia in a short few thousand years of agriculture it after hundreds of thousands of years of existing in that same region foraging. Now we're doing the same process on an industrial scale to the rest of the world.
I'll be honest I was selfish and reaped the benefits for myself of a plant based diet before I understood veganism and became a vegan.
I'm glad this is beign recognized but it is still so strange to me a living beings worthiness is based on this thing most people can't even define for themselves. I can't ever forget from studying history in college how slave owners asked the same questions about other people.
I've been vegan so long whenever I have the substitutes I honestly can't tell the difference any more. I wish dried tvp were more common and available though instead of these prehydrated and flavored prepared tv(soy, pea, etc)p products.
To be honest, I eat a whole food plant based diet and readjusted my desires and expectations. I always thought fish and seafood were kind of gross so maybe I am not the most reliable alternate maker and I tend to mostly eat desi and persian food. I think for something like schnitzel you need to mix the tofu with gluten flour to make it into more of a cutlet.
All that said
What about other kinds of seaweed like dulce? I have whole dulce and dulse flakes and for me they add a nice sea flavor to things. Something I like to do is freeze-thaw cycle a block of extra firm tofu which makes it flakey, slice it into filets, marinate it in brine and dulse (and other seasonings) then press a nori sheet onto one side and a very thin slice of lemon on top and I bake them nori side up. You could do a similar thing for salmon by using thicket slices, leaving out the lemon, scoring it with a knife and adding more dulse and beet juice.
For other seafood things the ones my partner likes are the king oyster mushroom "scallops" and Hearts of palm calimari.
All my cactuses come from estate sales for less than one dollar. They have all went a full year without water but have been watered daily since 6/1. It is between 38c and 42c here so I'm not really worried about over watering them.
I drove thru a series of CAFOs once between Liberal, Ks and Dalton Tx and it was shocking how many cows are there right next to the highways. The infrastructure of cattle cars and dedicated rail, "processing" slaughter houses and shit lagoons was in plain sight and it was so horrifying.
Interesting, I wonder if you vac sealed it with the beat juice if it would help penetrate the color further. I have a vac sealer I never use since going vegan 8 years ago.
My main worry has always been building a market for some business owner that goes ahead and sells it to Cargill. It kind of bothers me how some of the largest vegan message boards are just basically ads for burger king. I buy well your world stuff tho so I'm a little hypocritical lol
Woah! I'm pretty sure I have one of these. I keep a candle in it
I was actually sad last night. I ate some potatoes
Thanks for compiling this list! I try and avoid brands all together which to me is the easiest way to go about it, but I do think it is important vegan products come from vegan companies
I made these last night and they were really good
I hope every McDonald's burns to the ground and all the executives go to prison for animal abuse, labor exploitation and promoting obesity.
