Proud boys? Black hammer?
:horsepoo-theory: confirmed
I don't wanna insult your family but at the same time, dead cops is always good.
Little do they know you can do that anywhere in the city if you're just careful.
Ah, I didn't even pay enough attention to notice the Y axis!
So it looks like someone just clipped the figures and manually just resized them to the graph, am I predicting what happened here accurately? Not a graphic person, but I've dabbled enough to come up with this guess.
Ohh, that's a good one! Admittedly, this is something I need to think about for my pick, but I'll definitely think of something next time I'm wandering around the city.
Yeah, we're thinking a local monthly bulletin board style thread. We'll get something pinned in a day or two, and then we can take feedback from everyone here. Obviously we need to limit the details people share, but Commander and I are drafting something up we think will be good for the space.
So, this event is over by now, but I did have this link to the Haymarket book fair today. Kinda feel like its the perfect format and amount of info for a left wing event that would fit the spirit of such a thread in this comm.
It's just a little Google event link, but if people drop their links to causes/events/whatever in this amount of format, particularly without much/any personal commentary, it'd be good. Just kinda have the thread serve as like...a bulletin board.
Sure, I was thinking more of the bigger things would go here, and smaller things like what you mentioned can stay more hushed.
Also, if you want to go on the more pure drone side, Bong is drone metal with a sitar player.
City of Echoes as well!
BONGRIPPER BONGRIPPER BONGRIPPER!
That being said, a caveat - they're instrumental doom. Not really of like, the stoner variety, despite the name, I can't actually think of an easily recognizable doom band that sounds like them. Really heavy, chunky riffs that kinda evolve and change over the course of the song, drawn out segments that almost give a drone impression, really thick guitars. Great stuff if thats your jam. Their album 'Satan Worshipping Doom' is the crowd favorite, but I might suggest the newest one, 'Terminal' instead.
It probably goes without saying, but make sure people are focused on the main goal of the group, and watch out for any sectarianism that could be problematic down the road. I'm sure there's more, but honestly, I've only joined orgs - haven't worked with the local mutual aid group yet. Perhaps @Commander_Data might have some more insight?
