  • Ford says the Level 2 “hands-off, eyes-on” advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) is now also the most widely available system of its kind in Europe.

I don't know the capabilities of this system, but most systems can already do this. It is essentially adaptive cruise control and lane assist, but the driver still needs to pay attention. The problem ist that many people will slack off and not pay attention. I like the traffic jam assist of Mercedes much more. It is Level 3 and the driver does not need to pay attention under 60 kph.

  • Currently only Ubuntu and Fedora are officially supported, but many others work as well: https://frame.work/linux

I am using plain old Ubuntu on my Framework 11th Gen. Setup is without hiccups, however per default hibernation is not setup which can be a pain in the butt. I haven‘t tried the finger print sensor, but it should work as well.

Ubuntu is always a sane default and I am very happy with it.
