Multiple employees testified that Musk gave directives that were at odds with the company’s normal processes and policies. In December 2022, Musk directed that company servers be moved from one data center to another. Company policy was to wipe data before removing servers from a center, but the relocated servers were transferred without being wiped because employees did not have “enough time to put together a process that would be in compliance with [their] own policies,” according to the testimony.
Why do people trust this guy again?
Hope this doesn't cause another shitfit in the community, the last time something like this happens the forums got locked down

Yes, and it's been great! I mainly watch my subscriptions now, and the occasional tutorial I have to search for, but I'm glad to not have a bunch of clickbait thrown at me when I first open the app, now I don't get sidetracked or waste nearly as much time on useless schlock.
I need to find an offline hobby, something that doesn't involve a screen
Google is apparently going full scorched-earth policy by banning the ip addresses of proxy servers. Other frontends are experiencing this issue too, though I will say I used Piped today successfully at 1080p on the official instance so maybe it's working again?
Mental Outlaw for Linux/privacy stuff for sure. Dude has some hot takes and has been focusing a bit more on his farm at the moment but he's got some good topics
Hope Dan is getting reimbursed as well, though if Madison's claim about time off is to be believed, I don't have much confidence in that.
A bit of a side tangent, but the way Linus talks to Dan has always kinda rubbed me the wrong way. There's jokey "Dan wants me to do this but I'm gonna do this instead" banter that's ok but there are times where Linus just seems to openly disregard Dan and blame him for his own fuckups on the show. Not trying to be a parasocial Andy here but it does make the podcast harder to listen to, imo.

Seconding this, Proton has been super easy to work with, and the ProtonPass alias feature just works beautifully
Yikes. Internal quarrels are never a good sign
