Most search engines that claim to be private (StartPage, Qwant, etc) are fake and will try their hardest to sneakily profit from user data, with DuckDuckGo being the greatest example as they were caught selling user data to Microsoft, only stopping so when they were caught. The only search engine I would recommend is SearXNG. It's feature rich and is primarily ran by privacy enthusiasts.

I just love watching everyone freak out about Spotify's shitty business practices while I'm casually looping YouTube videos with an adblocker.

For me it's quite strange. This first happened around 2 weeks ago, I was getting ads, however only the audio works as when the ad plays the screen is black.

I'm on Firefox with uBlock. Also I never got this popup, I just started getting ads with a black screen.

How did they not see it? They were looking straight ahead from what I can see.
