i remember getting it on linux along with the sadx dreamcast conversion mods, i think i just got a repack instead of the actual disc thing or actually still used the iso and something off of the arch wiki to attempt to get all the isos loaded i fully forgot, i am sorry i can't help you with sadx on linocks :(

i was a sonic fan as a kid and had no other image to put as my pfp (srb2 sonic smoking wee i yanked from a random youtube comment because holy shit srb2 sonic smoking da boofee) and even as this post's image (some image of sonic smoking wede i found from a random youtube comment)

edit: also i like your posts about random mmo games. they're cool but the only one i played was realm of the mad god as a kid and later on a small bit of metin2. i am not sure if i can play any on linux

i was diagnosed with "temporary hyperactivity" as a kid. it just means adhd because diagnosis of neurodiverse stuff was weak at the time in romania. that didn't go away lol. it never will. also no medicine for adhd in my country either :( but i still function kinda fine :)

these are all games i have dabbled with. they're all pretty good, even if quality-wise they're drastically different. most of these use an open source engine, like openhv using openra for instance, and freedoom obviously using doom. i forgot to mention something like openttd which is its own thing at this point, with fully free assets and even mods. someone on hexbear enjoys it!

doom itself is a notable example of a game that was greatly helped by the foss community. it became well known for working on anything because the engine is simple to add to anything, with the gpl license allowing it and everything. the code is also very clean to the point of allowing modders to easily make source ports and total conversions with the wad and pk3 formats.

(please note that i wrote that list on a matrix chat somewhere. those are all my experiences as well. don't worry, op got permission from me! this just scratches the surface and i WILL elaborate sooner or later!)
