No Problem. I know it can trigger someone because it have no context. I am not saying People should touch other without their consent. You can shoot me for saying it's a game. Actually, It's a storyline/cutscene in Stardew Valley. Player(You) already have a good relation with him at 8 hearts. Also, I don't love Shane either. He is asshole in the start of game to player. But later you found out he was going to commit sucide. Also don't blame me for relationship blame concerendape for this.
One more why would one even gain 10 heart with Shane if you don't want to marry him in game and be nice with him at first place. It's just game mechanics in the end. Because it's kinda predefined in game. That you will marry him if you already gained 9 or 10 heart with him.
