To be honest I never notice the lag with lemmy.world but I'm excited for the new version regardless.
I think beehaw do well and did well. They state specifically that they want an instance that is welcoming and they will moderate heavily which is one reason why they defederated from .world I'm not sure if they still do but they did at one point because it was too much to moderate.
Getting banned sucks but it's only 6 days.
I didn't read it yet but just from the title I'ma disagree. I loved all the creative me for xorg over the years and hope to see it in Wayland even more.
Will update after I read it
Give me a service worth paying for and I'll watch there.
All features I get for free. Why would I pay for a service that offers only some of those.

I'm not sure why but on gnome my vram will fill up then gnome will crash. Doesn't happen on KDE. It's been happening for years on Nvidia and AMD
This is very promising. I'm excited to see where this goes. Soon I might finally be able to run Linux on my phone
I love gnome and use that for everything except gaming. If I want to game I use KDE
I found a thread that looks like someone is having the same issue. I'm getting warmer maybe

Fuck now I want to know so bad
Grow home. I loved and still adore that game but for whatever reason the sequel grow up doesn't feel the same. It feels like it has less soul than the first
I feel that. I'm about to be 23 and now it's on my mind again for some reason and idk what to do.
