    star trek 2, star trek 4 are the undisputed great star trek movies i think. i would want to throw star trek 8 in that category because it tells a story really well and has fun doing it, but hey. star trek 6 is beloved by some as a last send-off and is about not being racist but its just not that good of a movie. star trek 1 is knockoff 2001 a space odyssey, star trek 3 has sequel syndrome, star trek 5 is the worst movie ever made, star trek 7 has bad dialogue not that you asked
