10 months agoLol, are you serious? Any Adobe software, Microsoft Office, plenty of games (especially those that rely on anticheat software). That's everything that comes to mind right away, there's definitely more than that when it comes to specialized software. And no need to reply with "but there are good alternatives/use an older version", this is software that is required for work and it's industry standard for a reason.
I've been doing that for more than half a decade now, but the point still stands: the claim that Linux is compatible with everything is just not true, and while there are plenty of people for whom it will work perfectly fine, there are also lots of situations in which it is not a feasible solution.
