Alright, I'll give you the only non-grumpy answer here apparently, from someone who actually knows him.
His name is Jimmy. He loves YouTube, and want to make the best videos possible.
He lived with his mom and brother in his childhood. No mention of a father. He played a little baseball, and besides that he really just wanted to make video content. The family was not rich.
His first brand deal he got, he received 10.000 dollars from a sponsor. He gave it all away to someone and filmed it, gaining another brand deal that then got better and better because he gained more viewers.
The concept today for almost all of his videos is "game show". Which means you almost always have a chance to win money. Sometimes he also just gave it random on the street.
He also is a part of Team Trees and Save the Ocean, doing some environmental work in his videos.
Now, Jimmy aka MrBeast has a philanthropy channel, where he hired two individuals to go and give money away around the world to poor villages in 3rd world countries.
He also sells chocolate from sustainable cocoa farms, that is also gentle to the stomach (Jimmy has a stomach disease, don't remember the name).
So yeah, that's MrBeast. He uses all his time and money on videos, and he himself live in a little bunker close to the film studio. He owns almost nothing for himself, but he does own the biggest YouTube brand there is.
Hope it helped.
Who cares who develops it first.
Fusion will generate power for the whole world, and it will be the end of basically all coal power plants. This will benefit EVERYONE.
Fossil fuels won't go away from one day to another tho. It will take forever for all countries to transition to basically infinite electrical power, and we don't have enough EV's on the road just yet to replace oil. Then there's planes, ships and trucks we need to look at.
So who cares who develops it. China at least will provide it for the people, while the US will stall it to sell more oil.
I think the guy above is just mad he can't figure out how to use it. Always easier to be mad at the tool.
Interesting, do you know what happened to it?
Both this and x-rays in general are very great use cases for AI, as it can spot and identify 100x faster and more accurate than humans.
I think they already are implementing it around the world in a small scale so far.
That may be true, but has nothing to do with work hours and rights in China. They are opposite of great.
Big up to China for literally finding a way to save the environment.
Amazing. Great job, India, and all other regions who also have passed this.
"be bisexual" ???
I know it's not the point, and I don't really disagree to it either. You're right that they do have malicious intentions. I just swept it away, because they will be outnumbered. But it's still concerning and you are right to point it out.
I see your point in everything you say, but GMOs are not dangerous at all and makes crops use less water, makes them more nutritious, more resistant to pests (which means you don't need pesticides as much) and can even be used to let rice be richer in vitamin D, which is essential for some places in Asia.
Go after all the other things, no problem. But stop eating the GMO propaganda. Eat the GMO products instead.
This is a proposal right? Not something that's actually in place.
This happens every few years, and they also happen close to elections.
I'm not saying that this isn't dangerous, but these people send these proposals because they use it for their election campaign. They look like they want change, and they then blame too many votes on "not themselves" that it didn't pass.
I'm no so scared that this goes through, anyway.
Did you forget to change profiles when answering yourself?
EU are the heroes we need, but don't deserve.
EU holds alot more power on its politics than it gets credit for. Good for us they are consumer minded.
I think we just need to look at UFS 4.0 as a really well build, and high quality LEGO block.
But it doesn't matter how cool it is, when you need to build a house, and all the other blocks are not that fancy.
But it's still a very nice looking block, so it's better to have it than not.
Makes sense?
It's literally to comply with the EU. Microsoft doesn't do this to be nice.
I don't think I gave my opinion on any of the things in my description. He's making philanthropist videos no matter if you like it or not.
I was just stating facts, because all the other comments about him where mostly wrong or only sentence like "he's a YouTuber."
