  • We actually did have unemployed (a lot of homeless as well) veterans revolt back in 1932 during the Great Depression, demanding early payment of their service bonus certificates.
About 43,000 of them camped with their families on the White House lawn for a while, and the president at the time, Herbert Hoover, sent tanks and bayonets in and they killed a few people and injured dozens. Patton led the charge and Eisenhower wrote the military report endorsing the action (though he claims he told Patton not to do it). It was called the "Bonus Army" if you want to do some more reading.

  • They practically claimed DeJoy was going to help Trump steal the 2020 election by destroying the USPS capacity to deliver mail-in ballots, and as SOON as the election was called it's been radio silence about him ever since. That struck me out of the blue one day in like 2022 and I felt insane

  • That shit makes me feel insane, he's literally the boss of the secretary of education and they tried basically nothing and then gave up. And people still hand it to them! The lack of imagination liberals have is seriously depressing. These people live hollowed out, empty lives devoid of any legitimate hope or vigor, content with their allowance of imperial treats and the endless "aw shucks, well... next time for sure!" as everything decays around them.
