I remember having his Greatest Hits album when I was growing up. I have a vague memory of seeing him perform at the Pittsburgh Three Rivers and Arts Festival when I was little, too. I still listen to that album from time to time, singing along, and still regard that rendition of Little Boxes to be the best ever done. There's just something about Pete that his heart shines through in his music. I wish we had more people like him around this day and age. We definitely need them.
Me, too. I got to see these guys live many years ago at Ram's Head Live at a show that consisted of Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Against All Authority, and these fellas. Fucking amazing show! LTJ did a The Price is Right theme where they had audience members come up on stage and play TPR games including Plinko and the mountain climber thing to decide what they would perform next.
Fuck YES! I used to listen to VGS all the time back in high school. Who Is, This Is? was my favorite of theirs. Fun fact: The audio sample at the beginning of that album's title track (and where the album title came from), "Radio dispatch, do you know who this is?"[static] "No...who is, this is?" is from Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke!

Always wear a helmet, kids.
Thanks for the tip!
Ever heard of Spotify? Pandora? iHeartRadio? There are also tons of audiophiles that buy vinyl, CDs, etc. The streaming services are about "convenience". But it's not very convenient when those services don't offer everything that should be available, the quality is shit, and they can pull things from being available at any time. The physical forms are about actually owning what you pay for as well as quality. Even the best rips aren't 100%; there may be a missing track, cut too early, corruption of the file(s), etc.
So yeah, people still pay for music. It's not porn.
Ok, I gave in and while it's a little confusing, I already have one of the albums I was looking for and it's flac. Thanks for twisting my arm!

Ugh. Fine, I'll try it lol.
Yeah, I already use a torrent client, and I don't want to download another program that requires a login. I just want a place to find magnet links for torrents. Plus I can't even see what Soulseek has available without downloading it.
I don't know how effective it truly is a far as privacy goes, but I use the Scam Block app that T-Mobile provides, and DuckDuckGo's App Tracking Protection blocks tracking attempts from all my apps, including Scam Block.
