afaik it's only appeared in that regrettable Enterprise episode with the Klingons, I'm not entirely certain but I've got faith of the heart that is correct.

Because "Raptor" is another class of ship, even smaller than a "Bird of Prey", used mainly as a scout ship by the Klingons.
Sorry to ruin your "gotcha" moment.
"Bird of Prey" is a classification of light warship used by both the Romulan and Klingon forces, the smaller version of a "Warbird" class ship.
It is not culturally important to them, anymore than a "Galaxy Class" or "Class III Neutronic Carrier" would be to a human/federation race.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
The story just did not grab me at all, I found the art style incredibly ugly, and despite liking a lot of games with relatively similar playstyles I did not enjoy that at all.
I feel like people were just really excited to see a cyberpunk game, which at the time was definitely an underserved market.
I literally stopped lurking and made an account just to block them.
EDIT
New Hexbear keep coming up is there any way to block them all or do I have to squash each one as it comes up? A big part of the reason I left reddit was all the ridiculous bad faith political arguing, I really don't want to leave one site because of mostly right-wing extremists to have to leave another because of mostly left-wing extremists?
I literally just told you, size. You can go look up the exact ship specifications if you want, the Raptor is a small scout ship, the BoP is a mid-size warship, and the Warbird is a full-sized warship.
Also what are you even talking about, what came into canon first? Of course the Bird of Prey, its from ToS, I do not understand how that is relevant to the discussion.
