Wow, that's some pretty serious criticism, coming from Lyons. Good to know I'm not crazy in my perception of how the ABC has been covering Gaza.
Fucking idiots 🤦
You're correct, but I think most people would be more inclined to characterise Dutton as 'mashed' rather than 'hot' 😆

You can just put the entire URL after the archive.is/

Here is how platforms die: first, they are good to their users; then they abuse their users to make things better for their business customers; finally, they abuse those business customers to claw back all the value for themselves. Then, they die.
I call this enshittification, and it is a seemingly inevitable consequence arising from the combination of the ease of changing how a platform allocates value, combined with the nature of a "two sided market," where a platform sits between buyers and sellers, holding each hostage to the other, raking off an ever-larger share of the value that passes between them.

Yeah, Pole is really different, and so good!
And what I was getting at with 'instrumental' is that it can just be added onto any genre/mood/activity and that can help you narrow it down and find stuff you want at that moment. So if you want instrumental electronica, you can find playlists for that, e.g. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1EIe2aICIo80hb As for moods and activities, examples would be 'Chill Instrumental Beats' https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DX0khTY3HFA4M and 'Instrumental Study' https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DX9sIqqvKsjG8
The term for this would be 'instrumental', which I only mention because it might help you find what you want. If you search streaming platforms for '[some genre] instrumental' it might turn up a playlist.
Here's some favourite albums of mine, which are 'ambient' so you might find them terribly boring, but they certainly are instrumental:
Food $200
Data $150
Rent $800
Triple-jumping $3,600
Utility $150
someone who is good at the economy please help me budget this. my family is dying
Yeah, sorry, that's glib of me, but I don't think it's unfair to say that in terms of victims of capitalism, athletes are a fair way down the list.
Sorry for bringing the mood down, but this story isn't exactly my idea of 'light-hearted':
The woman claimed McDonald's kitchen workers are under extreme pressure to process drive-thru orders. "We get yelled at and pushed so hard until we beat those times, we sadly can't have a conversation with any customers," she stated.
FYI, there is a community, !nde@lemmy.world, if anyone here is interested in this kind of thing.

We need a !NotTheBetoota 😆
The game he was watching a replay of was against France, it was just a friendly before the World Cup.

It's been vandalised before. There's a gallery in the article with pictures from two prior incidents where it's been hit with paint.
