There's plenty of high end food available in trendier and more upscale corners of the country. It isn't as though grocery store mangos are the only mangos.
Mexico is a huge producer and they ship everywhere. Maybe they're not as good as ones from Thailand or Indonesia, but you can get them without too much trouble.
