Have you tried it? I have not but it's generally considered quite smooth. I think that lysine comes off pretty quick, mostly it's there to prevent people from using other ROAs, you maybe take it 2x a day instead of 1 or 3 instead of 2, and you could break into as many doses as you like, full control rather than relying on some complex metabolic mechanism.
Just in time for the patent to expire.
And for a new prodrug of amphetamine that definitely has fewer side effects and less addiction potential to coincidentally appear

I got tons of free vy in college from a friend who had a glut. Methylphenidate just isn't the same. I basically owe my degree to vyvanse.

I haven't but I've tried other IR type stimulants and found myself far less productive than an ER "set and forget".
