And we shouldn't allow this concept to go unchallenged here on Lemmy.

Commenting on an active post is not brigading

The only thing that might be brigading, but isn't because it isn't a real thing, is someone explicitly going, "Hey everyone, go here and harass this person"

It's all fine and good that we have some new rules to keep the peace with other instances but we must fight against reddit-logo brainworms

    There’s two versions.

We also have the original picture as an emote PIGPOOPBALLS

To be more fair than they deserve, this is a bigger issue when posting on other instances due to a Lemmy bug that enlarges the emotes into full size pictures. However, I’m sure they’ll keep complaining about it once it’s fixed.

Eh, that's still benign compared to the rest of the internet. Hopefully a lot of the hexbear hate dies down after a while. I created this account because both of my original instances defeded from y'all / the .world piracy fiasco.

Seriously! It's just a picture of a pig. No one's (mostly) screaming slurs or accusing you of being mentally ill or threatening your dog or telling you to hurt yourself (unless you're a landlord). It's just a pig with some poop on it. As far as actual internet toxicity goes it's pretty soft. Dismissive? Yes, extremely.
