Maybe you forget how isolated lemmy is in general. Even if we wanted to do that it's not even possible. This is just our comfortable space in an ocean of online liberalism. We're happy to discuss politics with people in good faith and it's great if we can help educate people but pretty much everything important happens in real life, offline.
