Who even thinks that money is made by creating products anymore? That ship has sailed years ago. Nowadays, you make money by being a middleman, you simply create nothing and instead make "Uber but for X", undercutting the prices and cannibalizing whatever industry you're trying to "disrupt" and then you offer worse services for the same price, allowing you to skim money off of every transaction while giving your "independent contractors" basically nothing.

That, or just selling vibes like Andrew Tate. Anything but actual products, especially completely redundant nonsense like what these clowns are coming up with. There is only so much shit people actually need, and that mark was passed probably 50 years ago or longer.

There was some ghoul on twitter recently saying what they'd do if they had no money, and that was grift a $10,000 credit card and use it to set themselves up as a middleman for tree clearing work, using cheap undocumented immigrant labour and undercutting the competition so he could raise prices and expand the franchise.

At no point did the scam (which had multiple fatal flaws but assuming it works here) involve the "business owner" doing any actual work except illegally littering the street with signs advertising their supposed business which was actually just a middleman money pump exploiting cheap labour on both ends.

Usually I'm used to a fig leaf of obfuscation in these schemes, but no, full mask off "I'm exploiting labour for profit and that's good actually"
