The road trips would be much more enjoyable if there was a robust web of transit networks and 15 minute neighborhoods. If you’re taking a road trip vacation somewhere, the worst traffic is always around the major urban areas during rush hours when all the commuters are clogging the highways as there’s no good light rail or transit options.
If they ever build even a small portion of what you’re saying inevitably we’ll get articles saying:
“Train riding zoomers are killing mom n pop BnBs” entirely written by the hotel and vacation rental lobby
That would make for an awesome Kelly comic, sneering zoomers riding the train (“latest fad”) while sad faced “honest small business owners” of gas stations and roadside motels look on, with concerned lady liberty to the side.
