Like ever? I feel like it’s almost guaranteed the more money the worse you become. I know this isn’t very dialectic but it’s true.

    I knew exactly one. Sort of.

    In his dying years my grandfather came to the realization that, being a big landlord, he was on the highway to hell. Being one of his only descendants that isn't also a massive piece of shit, he granted me authority over his estate.

    I was tasked with converting all of his properties into rent-to-own units, private mortgages, or anything else that would give people ownership over their own homes. It was a hell of a lot of work. I refused to draw a salary from the estate because I believed in what we were doing.

    Anyways, my Very Cool Aunts and Uncles intervened and used rich people lawyer magic to cut me out of the estate entirely. Now I have negative money and they're richer than before, drawing big profits out of those rentals.

    Capitalism is so cool.
