I've recently had to argue with a "VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET" type and it went nowhere because that's the kind of blame-the-masses bullshit that people like him believe: that asking individual consumers to save the world (or much more likely, not save the world) with their consumer choices is a good idea and that if the wallets vote otherwise, oh well, at least they can feel smart and superior as the planet continues to burn.
