they probably seem more annoying because we're exposed to more of their annoyingness through the internet
there do seem to be more fashy teens now, but that could also just be because of the internet
There are probably more explicitly fascist teenage dweebs, but they're still a very small minority. And on the other hand, there's way less homophobic and transphobic teens than their were in the 90s
