    Nazi collaborator

If he fought in the SS, that's not a Nazi collaborator, that's a Nazi. There's no semantics game to be played, that's outright a Nazi.

    Anyway, source

here's an excerpt from a speech that Heinrich Himmler gave to the division this man served in, i.e. he was most likely in the crowd. CW: antisemitism, anti-Polish racism, genocide

Your homeland has become so much more beautiful since you have lost – on our initiative, I must say – those residents who were so often a dirty blemish on Galicia's good name, namely the Jews ... I know that if I ordered you to liquidate the Poles ... I would be giving you permission to do what you are eager to do anyway.

It’s pretty annoying how Zelensky tried to repute Putin’s claims of Ukraine having a nazi problem by bringing up how his ancestors fought in the red army and died in the holocaust. Like great. Now you are clapping and hollering for the very people who not only killed them, but betrayed them. An absolutely pathetic man

You know how he grew out the beard and does the pushups dresses like a military guy ever since 2019 and tried to build this fidel-castro-like guerrilla aesthetic that is totally at odds with what he behaved/looked like before his presidency? Well that's because he has a sweetheart advertising deal with a company that sells nazi paraphernalia

He also wore a Star Wars tshirt depicting Ukraine as the empire (via storm troopers), warning the viewer that they must join the dark side (Ukraine) or die. This was at some teleconference with business leaders

more info here about SS entering into Kanada

"One way of getting into postwar Canada "was by showing the SS tattoo," Canadian historian Irving Abella told "60 Minutes" interviewer Mike Wallace. "This proved that you were an anti-Communist.""

      lol

Maybe the Simon Wiesenthal' Center has a list somewhere with the name of Yaroslav Hunka..

And well, he's thanked as a "veteran" in that book called "The History of the Galician Division of the Waffen SS" (spelled Jaroslav Hunka).

Also maybe the division commited war crimes, who knows. The memory of these times and ours is actively being shaped, and we can all participate a bit.
