There's no shortage of pro-Union Libertarians outside the Mises Institute. It's far more a regional thing. Hell, even when he was doing The Drew Carry Show, he had plenty of episodes with pro-labor themes. It's a big part of his midwestern schtick.
Left libertarians are real, the co opting of libertarian as a right wing (or at least Conservative) thing happened pretty recently. Or idk within my lifetime during the Ron Paul-Alex Jones era
Its been going since the 1920s at least. Murray Rothbard pioneered modern right-libertarianism. Arguably its older than that, if you get into Confederate revanchist history.
