Canada’s political establishment and corporate media are now desperately seeking to move on from any discussion, let alone serious probing, of how Canada’s parliament came to give a hero’s welcome to a 98-year-old Ukrainian veteran of the Nazi Waffen-SS, Yaroslav Hunka.
I'm just wondering, did anyone in parliament NOT cheer for the fucking SS veteran?
To my knowledge, not a single one. Even the Conservatives, who are now using this to attack Trudeau
Supposedly the Green MPs were watching remotely and claim they didn't applaud from home. Mike Morrice is my MP, and his political career has basically been a long string of good takes, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt on this in the absence of hard proof.
