Tired of mowing all this shit and now the city's pissing and moaning about weeds so it's time to do something about it. I think I'm in USDA zone 7 if it matters.

clover lawns look nice. The seed is usually cheap and sold as a landscape ground cover or a cover crop for farmers. I don't think they need to be mowed or watered.

  You'll want to water it early on until established, but after that, it's pretty drought-tolerant.
