Well, I literally just found them a few days ago after rabbit-holing on Invidious from Mildreda (still not terribly familiar with this one, also a rabbit-hole find).
I'm going through shit right now with all the bullshit happening in the world (aren't we all), and this just scratches the itch to have something comforting that's not breakneck fast, gives good ear-sex, and has themes relevant to my struggles.
If you know other bands like this, I'd love to know.
Edit: I'm also surprised someone else knew about Morne. It's so out of the way and just obscure. I like to hunt for such music, though. Never used Spotify or anything of the sort. Always rabbit holes.
Not identical, but the first thing to come to mind for me is the album "Esoptron" (actually "Εσοπτρον", but you're more likely to find it by the English spelling) by Septic Flesh. It's less hypnotic than Morne, but I really like the atmosphere it creates. I have not read the lyrics though.
