    Unguided bombs, to put it lightly, are a shit weapon. In WW2, it took mass flights of bombers to do the damage to a specific target that a single modern jet with guided bombs could do. To achieve any accuracy with dumb bombs, you have to do dive bombing which puts you in range of manpads and anti air guns. To use unguided bombs means that the idf-cool makes no distinction between where they think resistance fighters might be and where is clearly civilian. To the Israelis, all Palestinians are the enemy to be bombed and killed. They're not concerned about collateral damage as even an "unfortunate side effect," but it is instead a goal.
