Also, “gay” was a character trait that took one of the 3 character trait slots, so gay characters only got 2 bonus traits instead of 3 and that made them a lot worse. A min-maxed pawn could not be gay because it wasted a bunch of opportunities for power like jogger, superimmune, etc.
