That's what pisses me off about gamers. They don't consider that it's capitalism forcing these terrible working conditions and producing these games.
They'll just shit on developers for being lazy (developers that are overworked, underpaid and probably wish they had the time and resources to make a good game), or they'll complain about people's consumption habits as if that would make a difference. Or they'll only single out a single company.
It completely misses the point. Every company is terrible. It's not the developer's fault, it's the shareholders, investors and other higher-ups that are the problem. It's the ever-increasing shittiness of capitalism. "Demanding a better product" might make the games look better, but they'll be made under even worse conditions for the workers (see Rockstars work hours during Red Dead 2) and will ultimately still feel kind of incomplete and soulless.
